adidas Originals – Home of Classics

Last week we headed out to Paris to celebrate the launch of adidas Originals ‘Home of Classics’ collection. Hosted in a completely whited-walled event space – named Carte Blanche 300m2 – the area provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate the brand’s collection of timeless shoes which have transcended the sports they were designed for.

Inside, the venue was packed with specific sporting zones – from skateboarding to b-ball – to showcase each footwear style and the sports they were intended for. A hall of fame showroom included a line-up of adidas’ classics, customised by a host of cultural icons, while in the basement, OG issues of some of the brand’s vintage innovators – such as the Stan Smith, the ASC Trainer and the Torsion Comp OG – lay enclosed in a protective glass case. We were also treated to a performance from the British singer and rapper IAMDDB, which was a fitting end to an event full of vibrant energy.

The ‘Home of Classics’ collection will be landing at size? this Friday. From the selection, we’re stocking iterations of the Supercourt, S.C Premiere, Continental 80, A.R Trainer, as well as the Superstar 80s, the Nizza Hi, the Torsion Comp and the legendary Stan Smith. Each trainer is adorned in supple white leather uppers and features a complementing off-white sole unit underfoot.

Releases from the adidas Originals ‘Home of Classics’ collection will be available via the size? website and in selected size? stores on Friday 31st May, priced between £75-120 and available in men’s and women’s sizes.
