Nike P-6000
Here we have the Nike P-6000. Nike’s runner was inspired by the brand’s famous Pegasus silhouette, which was introduced way back in 1983 for the everyday runner. Handpicking elements from later versions of the Pegasus – namely the Pegasus 25 and the 2006 – the multi-layered shoe is panelled with a combination of sturdy leather and breathable mesh. Dipped in glossy accents throughout, the runner also features Cushlon foam technology underfoot.
If you’re unfamiliar with this fantastic tech, Cushlon is made from a mix of supportive phylon and rubber additives, which renders the midsole lightweight, buoyant and highly responsive to your every step. There’s also a couple of final touches: classic Swoosh branding highlights the sidewalls and a rubber outsole features to the underside for unwavering traction to the surface, wherever you find yourself.
Captured by Rosie Matheson – a Portrait of Britain 2016 Award Winner and the curator of the celebrated portrait series ‘Boys’ – these superb shots capture the P-6000’s stylish versatility.
