Our first foray into the world of the Air Max 93, quite literally, took us out of this world. Upon its release in 1993, the Air Unit underfoot was the largest of its kind, prompting the ‘Maximum Air’ moniker. As you’ll see in the video below, we kept in tune with the colourway’s theme of asteroid by launching the silhouette into the stratosphere.
Matching material palettes ran across both colourways from the pack. The stretchable neoprene booty from the original was still present, sitting alongside a suede mudguard, hardwearing mesh toebox, and elephant print heel panel and swoosh.
