adidas Originals Nite Jogger

This season adidas Originals rework their famed Nite Jogger. The late ‘70s runner was the brand’s first foray into hi-vis technology and was introduced to help runners stand out in low-light. Four decades on, the Three Stripes has developed the silhouette further, introducing a rendition which retains all its predecessor’s visible qualities, restyled in an on-trend, eye-catching profile.

Always visible, this new iteration of the Jogger is highlighted with strategically placed hi-vis points, with reflective hits featuring to the laces, 3-stripes, heel patch and overlays. The shoe’s durable nylon ripstop to the upper is the ideal material to tackle the winter’s testing conditions, while soft mesh and suede overlays deliver additional comfort and support.

Underfoot, the modernised model utilises adidas’ Boost technology. If you’re not familiar with this technology, a Boost midsole is made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) which compresses under impact and instantly springs back to its original shape – making for a cushioned ride each and every time.

Re-imagining the original Nite Jogger colourway, the updated iteration is punctuated by contrasting pops of orange, set against a fully black upper. Meanwhile, the signature heel overlay acts as a visual nod to the original model, continuing the release’s theme of restyling the past for the future. The Nite Jogger is finished with the message “the speed of nite” written in Morse code on its rubber traction outsole.
