Men’s Nike M2K Tekno
Back by popular demand, the Nike M2K Tekno returns – but this time sized up for men. Originally debuting exclusively as a ‘women’s’ style, the first three sell-out colourways from the initial drop are back in the larger sizes due to popular demand from the fellas.
A fashion-forward silhouette, the Nike M2K Tekno is the latest release to join in on popularity of ‘chunkier’ shoes, featuring design characteristics of Nike’s classic Monarch 1, which have then been injected with tech elements of the Monarch IV. Bit of background on the Monarch’s – they are actually one of Nike’s most popular and best selling shoes of all time – so what better shoe to take reference from and reinterpret for a new generation to adopt than that? It’s kind of ironic that a shoe once pigeonholed for dad’s and P.E teachers is now the pinnacle of style, but that’s the ever-evolving world of fashion I guess!
Back to the Tekno’s, returning in platinum-white, white/orange and black/white, all three colourways feature overlaid, panelled leather uppers, with cut-out sections to the sidewalls. Iconic mini-swoosh’s sit in differing spots across the upper, while a vibrant counter to the heel keeps in tune with the shoe’s striking presence. Underfoot, the sculpted thick midsole unit comes accented with geometric design lines and delivers superb levels of cushioning.
All three colourways of the Nike M2K Tekno will be available via the size?previews App and in selected size? stores on Thursday 16th August, priced at £90.
