Arkk Copenhagen AW17 Collection

ARKK Copenhagen is a Nordic footwear brand that was established in 2014 by two Danish co-founders, Kasper Høj Rasmussen and Thomas Refdahl. They both had a passion for streetwear but felt there was a lack of variety in the footwear market outside the big sportswear companies. Without finding a brand that truly expressed their own personal style they worked tirelessly for over a year to release the first Arkk Copenhagen model in late 2015.

The brand pays homage to minimalistic Nordic design and architecture and their silhouettes are clean, modern with subtle colour treatments. Their latest Autumn/Winter 2017 collection explored the concept of going off the grid, being simple to understand yet harness a complex and unique nature. Releasing for the first time this season is the Scorpitex S-E15, a slip-on model with an elastic fastening system inspired by hiking boots.
