Converse x Carhartt WIP Chuck ’70
Teaming up for the first time ever on a collaborative project, streetwear mainstays Carhartt WIP have applied their workwear aesthetic to a trio of classic Converse Chuck 70‘s; incorporating some of their most recognisable colours and materials to carry over their signature look.
Both brands have a rich history behind them, with Converse carving the way for early basketball footwear, and Carhartt WIP taking hardwearing work apparel and altering it to be worn casually. Making use of each brands signature features, Converse have taken some of Carhartt’s most iconic fabrics and incorporated them into their own classic Chuck 70’s Low, featuring the Tiger Camo Ripstop, White Drill and Hamilton Duck Canvas in a way never seen before.
Visually the campaign is headed up by a collective led by New York’s A$AP Nast, accompanied by Londons Emerald Rose (Rinse FM), Model/Creative Jim Longden, and Glaswegian beatmaker Sega Bodega.
The Converse x Carhartt WIP Chuck 70 Low will be available online and in our Amsterdam, Carnaby St, Manchester and Brixton stores, priced at £75.
