Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Club C

After a slew of successful collaborative works on the timeless Reebok Classic silhouette last year, Kendrick Lamar is back again for his latest production with Reebok on their undisputed shoe of 2016, the Club C. Theme’s of unity present in his past shoes continue on in this latest piece with the brand, while also looking at ideas behind abstraction and anonymity.

The white and black acid wash effect featured on the full canvas upper reflects equality within society, with the opposing tones coming together on a single platform. Red colour pops on the tongue and heel panel signify the strength found within Kendrick’s lyrics, and the hidden Reebok branding placed on the inside of the tongue is a direct reference to his latest musical project ‘Untitled, Unmastered’. Finishing off the details, a red ‘K’ and a circle situated on each of the side branding patches pay homage to Lamar’s ‘K-Dot’ nickname.
