With the popularity of UK Grime flourishing once again over the past couple of years and finding its feet in the mainstream spotlight, one photographer has embedded herself deep into the heart of London’s ever expanding scene. 

Polish born, London based Vicky Grout can be found either out on the street shooting promo imagery for your new favourite MC, or front row in the pit shooting the fast paced, unpredictable environment of a rave.

The rise of social media has only increased her enhanced status as THE modern day, go-to photographer of grime, with her images no doubt appearing regularly on your Instagram popular page. Among capturing multiple images of Skepta over the last year or so, one of her biggest accolades involved being asked to shoot the cover for his 2015 anthem, ‘Shutdown’, an image you’ll be sure to have seen.

With portrait work being at the heart of her portfolio, her aesthetic has also lent itself to work within the realms of fashion, having recently photographed lookbook collections for both adidas Originals and Reebok.

Vicky’s style is reflective of the grime scene she knows and loves. Tracksuits and streetwear form the basis of her outfits, effortlessly layering brands with a classic pair of white Chuck 70 Lows.
