NEIGHBORHOOD x Carhartt WIP Collection A/W 2014 Preview
Tokyo based brand NEIGHBORHOOD and size? staple Carhartt WIP once again join forces to collaborate on another collection taking inspiration from vintage US work wear.
Founded in 1994 by motorcycle enthusiast Shinsuke Takizawa, the brand was formulated by his own personal resentment of relevant products available on the market at the time. His collections immediately added a character and personality to a diluted marketplace in Japanese streetwear; using the heritage of American motorcycle and military industries and applying it to technically constructed garments.
This aesthetic sits perfectly alongside Carhartt WIP, whose reputation exudes to the highest standard of work wear; prioritising quality, durability and comfort. Founded in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt, the brand have gone from strength to strength, creating industry essentials and becoming synonymous with creating the perfect balance between fashion and functionality.
For Autumn/Winter 2014, both aesthetics collide, using Carhartt WIP silhouettes with Neighborhood styling and creativity.
The collection is available here online and in the dedicated Carhartt WIP space in size? Leeds.
