In just under 2 minutes, we see 43 years and over 200 shoes showcasing Nike’s innovation and heritage. The video breaks the timeline up into seperate eras starting with Genesis;  the blueprint and basis of what Nike’s future work looked to be based upon.  Next was Reformation: the transitional period, re-writing the history books and breaking the boundaries; here, Nike continued to push the envelope.

These were followed by the Golden Years; a point in which Nike refer to as being one of the most prominent periods in their rich history of innovating and Enlightenment, building upon what was learnt throughout the Golden Years. The Renaissance period leads on from these two, taking the momentum and translating it to the modern day, re-designing materials and re-shaping silhouettes which led into the Transformation phase.

The piece is finished with Revolution, a real statement and reminder of how far Nike have come and how they look to continue stretching their legacy and building upon their previous eras.
