Kangol Bermuda Casual bucket hat
In the early 1980’s and shortly after Kangol had adapted its now famous Kangaroo logo, a younger rapper named LL Cool J began to wear their Bermuda Casual bucket hat in his videos and on his album covers. Others followed within the hip-hop community, and soon the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Run-DMC and Notorious B.I.G were all regularly spotted wearing them.
Kangol, which was originally founded in 1938 making hats for soldiers and golfers, saw record high sales for the Bermuda Casual hat, making it one of the most instantly recognisable fashion accessories of the decade. The British headwear specialist has recently brought back this iconic style and is now available online HERE and in selected size? stores priced at £40.
