With the welcome return of the popular Hamburg silhouette at the start of the year, a model that was first introduced in 1982 as part of adidas’ now legendary City Series, we are now proud to announce the next selection of iconic colourways. Taking subtle cues from the city by the same name, these two new adidas Originals Hamburgs feature colours that you might see on two of the most famed football teams of that area, Hamburg SV and FC St. Pauli.

With a clean white leather upper and red suede leather detailing, the first model hints to one of Germany’s oldest and most famous football teams to date, Hamburg Sport-Verein, or better known, Hamburg SV. The team has a long heritage within the German national championship, and with its most successful period being between the mid-1970s until the mid-1980s, their Home colours are perfectly matched for this iconic shoe.

Following suit is a make-up that sides with a team based in the St. Pauli quarter of Hamburg, FC St. Pauli, a football team that over the years, has been nicknamed “Buccaneers of the League” and “House of Joy” due to their “Kult” status.

The adidas Originals Hamburg ‘White/Red/Gum’ is now available online HERE and in selected size? stores, priced at £70 in UK sizes 6 – 12 (including half sizes).
