The Best of 2013

The amount of coveted releases during 2013 was incredible, with almost every category covered from all the big hitters in a year in which the industry really saw a tremendous growth. From timeless classics and ground-breaking new innovations to worldwide exclusives and unpredictable sell-outs, all have hit the shelves during the last 12 months and to decide which our favourites were was a very hard task indeed.

Thinking back, 2013 was a year that presented us with a vast selection of new technologies such as Nike’s Engineered Mesh and adidas Originals’ Boost cushioning, as well as some underrated silhouettes which turned out to be some of the years’ best sellers. After much deliberation, discussion and heated debate, we’ve decided on our favourite top 5 releases from 2013 in no particular order. The only stipulation on the selection was that the shoe had to have been sold at size?. However, we couldn’t possibly limit our yearly selection to such a small number and so have included a selection of ‘Honourable Mentions’ to get all nostalgic over.
