Last week we saw the opening of an individual and very unique exhibition hosted by four collectors of footwear created by the German sportswear brand, adidas. Held under the worn arched brick roof of the Hoxton Gallery lay a collection of rare trainers dating as far back as 1969, creating a type of event that has never been achieved before.

With former trefoil Global Head of Entertainment and exhibition curator, Gary Aspden at the helm we took an exclusive look behind the scenes at the creation of the exhibition, from first planning and a visit to Garys secret lockup and a quick talk with the man himself before the public exhibition started.
