In the 70’s Craig Fineman played a major role in the underground skate pool movement, filming definitive moments from the then un-seen culture, and in turn exposing Stussy’s early surfboard designs to the community at large. Always ready with his finely-tuned camera gear and various ideas on the subject at hand, Craig was there to get the perfect shot.

To celebrate the new collection of collaborative t-shirts featuring a range of Finemans’s work, streetwear brand Stussy have come together with Dashwood Books to present a limited edition book, showcasing the best photographs produced by Fineman.  Taking you back to the roots of pool skating, the book presents never before seen imagery with the help from boyhood friend Duncan Campbell and Stussy designer Nick Bower.

The collection of influential photos are a clear example of how the late Fineman worked, utilising unique angles and composition, intertwined with an almost architectural feel, further enhancing the graceful movements seen throughout the skateboarding and even the surfing movements.

The Stussy x Craig Fineman limited edition t-shirt series is now available online now, in sizes S – XL and priced at £35, with the limited edition book being released next week.
