Late last year we were supposed to see the next addition to Sneaker Freaker’s animal inspired collaboration collection with New Balance, but due to some production issues, the release was held off until a later date. Aiming to follow on from the same mass success of the 2009’s SF x NB850 ‘Skippy’, we are pleased to hear that the technically equipped 998 silhouette is finally here, coloured in more shades of purple than ever imaginable, and featuring a more than popular speckled sole!

The Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 ‘Tassie Devil’ has been hugely influenced by the native Australian marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil, which is unfortunately suffering from an epidemic that in turn is threatening their survival. To help that this doesn’t happen, Sneaker Freaker are making a healthy donation to ‘Save The Tasmanian Devil’ with the sale of each shoe to help save these unique animals.

The Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 ‘Tassie Devil’ will be available on Saturday 30th March from our Manchester, Carnaby Street, Covent Garden, Liverpool, Paris and online stores in VERY LIMITED numbers (sizes 7.5 – 11.5 UK), priced at £110/€130.
