Nike Vortex Vintage Lunar QS
Following on from the recent hybrid Epic Lunar released recently, Nike now present us with their latest instalment of innovative hybrids, in the form of the Vortex Vintage Lunar QS. A silhouette that is bursting with details, this version holds true to the original with a mix of premium materials ranging from breathable nylon and mesh to the vintage treated suede and leather. First launched during the heyday of lightweight runners, and as part of the famed V-Series, the Nike Vortex was immediately received as a futuristic-looking model with the help of 3M accents around the toe and heel, so we can see why it was such an easy choice to combine it with such a bold outsole unit.
The colour might be a bit off-putting to start off with, but once you’re acquainted everything changes. The cushioned Lunarlon sole sits nicely underneath the neutrally coloured upper, replacing the standard wrap-around heel counter with its own Dynamic Support and enhancing all of the old characteristics of the BRS-styled model perfectly. Another great blend of past and present from the Nike Kitchen.
The Nike Vortex Vintage Lunar QS is available now online and in selected size? stores, priced at £100.
