Jessie Ware x BenZel – If You Love Me
No stranger to pop soul music, Jessie Ware has teamed up with New York-based production duo BenZel (Umi Takahashi, 15 and Yoko Watanabe, 16) to create a perfect reworking of the 1994 best seller, If You Love Me, originally sung by the American female R&B group, Brownstone. Having released a number of cover songs in the past year, Jessie takes on the smooth vocals with ease and is accompanied by some quite entrancing visuals along with a slight vocal reverb to keep you wanting more.
Directed by hugely creative Kate Moross, who has previously worked with adidas Originals, Cadbury’s, Nike and Converse to name just a few, this latest mix of talent is well worth a peak.
