REBLOG! Nike Air Force 1 Popsicle mould

During the development of the Lunarlon sole unit four years ago, an elite team of designers from Nike’s Innovation Kitchen discovered that they could increase the stability of the mould by freezing it. This bizarre and drastic action turned out to be a key part in the sole’s creation and towards technological advancements in footwear today.
To celebrate their breakthrough research and to help commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Nike have created a Popsicle mould of an original AF1 sole. Unfortunately though, there’s been no word from Beaverton on a general release.
