Nike reveal the story behind the iconic Free sole unit with this neat short video from their Tales From The Kitchen series. Focusing on the sole’s designer Tobie Hatfield (yes, that’s Tinker’s brother), the video follows the story of Tobie’s inspiration, beginning with a fondness for barefoot running and culminating in the creation of the segmented sole.
