size?sessions – Rapsody

For the latest installment of our live music series, we headed out to size? Amsterdam to meet up with North Carolina born Emcee Rapsody while she stopped off in the capital in the midst of her multi-date ‘Wisdom is Power tour across the globe. The landscape of Hip Hop in the present day is varied and extremely eclectic, and Rapsody is a shining light for those more inclined to lyric driven music.

Beginning her journey into music at High School level with make-shift mic-booths and hosting events, her sound has slowly matured as the years have passed as her style and delivery has developed. Still very early in her craeer, she’s had the opportunity to work with an incredible array of artists including Kendrick Lamar, as well as her ‘discoverer’ and mentor 9th Wonder. Before taking the Mic, we sat down with Rapsody and 9th Wonder to talk about their beginnings, who they’d like to work with in the future, and how far she can take her craft.
