Reebok Phase 1 Pro Re/Cut – size? Exclusive

The next installment in our exclusive Re/Cut series in collaboration with Reebok see’s the Phase 1 Pro stripped back to basics in two monochromatic versions. Celebrating 30 years since it’s introduction on the courts back in ’86, our premium update combines a selection of leathers sitting on top of a thick nylon mesh underlay. You may have seen the earlier sample version we showed you in July’s episode of The Preview.

As simple and classic as these colourways are, the dominant focus of this pack is the material story and the way in which the combination’s been used. For the most part a tough, tonal leather has been placed throughout the mudguard and heelcup areas, and the style switches up halfway through the sidewall vector logo into a premium tumbled leather. This then extends around the back and supports the de-bossed heeltab branding.

The other standout material is the thick mesh spread across the toebox and sidewall underlay, originally sampled as a softer nylon, we were so impressed with the small section that was tested that we extended it across the entire shoe.
