Nike Air Footscape Motion ‘Sakura’
So far this year we’ve seen the return of a few of the more obscure styles from Nike’s vast back catalogue, with the Talaria, Presto, and Sock Dart all receiving warm welcome’s by the fresh eyes who may not have seen them the first time around. The next shoe that some would happily place into this category is the Air Footscape Motion. Aptly dressed in an all over ‘Sakura’ cherry blossom print, the Air Footscape has always been a firm favourite in Japan due to it’s wide-fitting last shape.
Over the years of it’s evolution the Footscape has seen a few alterations to it’s tooling, in particular the Free Motion midsole present on this version. The ridged grooves were placed specifically to further enhance comfort and flexibility in the forefoot of the midsole unit.
The soft grey and blue colourway is constructed in a combination of suede and nylon, with subtle pink floral hits floating across each side of the upper. The grey pigment extends further onto the sockliner and midsole, with the exterior finished off with the ever-present embroidered mini swoosh on the toebox, and swoosh outline on each medial side.
The Nike Air Footscape Motion ‘Sakura’ will be available online and in selected size? stores on Friday 3rd June, priced at £115 and available in sizes UK 6-12 (with selected half sizes).
