The adidas Originals Archive returns with the size? UK exclusive ZX5000
The latest size? UK exclusive release from the adidas Archive sees the return of the revered ZX5000 in the two original colourways. First released in 1989, the ZX5000 featured superior cushioning for middle to long distance runners and represented another step towards running shoe perfection as well as another fantastic addition to the legendary ZX training shoe series.
This original spec silhouette is decked out in the original colourways, and sits atop the then groundbreaking Torsion sole unit. Constructed using the fine nylon and suede panelling that makes this re-release look so true to the 24 year old original, the Tron-esque heel stabiliser is a great finishing touch. With all these carefully considered elements put together superbly, it’s looking like this will be a launch that’ll no doubt further endear the Archive series to adidas aficionados.
Available in UK sizes 6-12 (including half sizes) and priced at £80 each, the size? exclusive adidas Originals ZX5000 OG will launch online at 6am on Friday 28th June 2013 in both colourways (Grey/Turquoise and Purple/Grey) via links on Twitter, Facebook and our blog. It will also be available from all size? stores (please check your local store’s opening hours).
