Nike Sportswear x Matt Stevens Celebrate the Reinvention of #AIRMAX

Share This:

A while back, Matt Stevens produced a range of illustrations depicting the early Air Max 1 in a diverse collection of surroundings and situations, from an air freshener to  chalk board drawing. His work then resulted in a book titled ‘The Max 100 Project’ that we’re sure the enthusiasts reading this have tried getting their hands on, as well as the Nike iD samples that were released shortly after.

To coincide with Nike‘s latest campaign, Matt is back to celebrate the reinvention of #Air Max and the introduction of Engineered Mesh, by expanding his already impressive series of illustration. This time broadening his views onto the 90, 95 and 97 models, we see these famed silhouettes hosted upon familar surroundings to emphasize the colours, culture, designs and finally the reinvention of the Air Max range.

Check out the new illustrations below and the theory behind it over at Nike..
