Last Friday (29^th June) saw the launch of the long awaited Nike Hyperdunk+ & Dream Team collection at our Carnaby Street store in London. Hosted by 1Xtra’s MistaJam, the closed-door event was attended by a select number of competition winners, key Nike guests and a whole host of Nike security guards, on hand to look after original Dream Team member & Chicago Bulls legend, Scottie Pippen.

The evening started with a one-on-one interview with Pippen who answered a set of questions from MistaJam and the winners of our Hyperdunk+ launch event competition. Following the interview, 5 lucky competition winners competed against each other in a live ‘Jump Off’ to see who could jump the highest, with the winner taking home a pair of Nike Hyperdunk+, the most technologically advanced basketball shoe of all time.

All in all the night was a relaxed affair and those in attendance were lucky enough to enjoy a unique experience and meet an all time basketball legend from a true golden era of the game.

On hand to capture pics and videos on the night was assistant manager of our Plymouth store, expert man-behind-the-lens and all-round nice guy, James Measom.
